A Gentle Lean
The room was quiet. I sat still against the dark plaid fabric and took a slow breath. A subtle pulse settled into my chest. Carefully, I lifted my left arm. It moved softly, just as I wished. Beside me stood a little blue-capped duck. I reached out and let my soft paw nudge its round shoulder. It swayed slightly, then rested quietly against my side. I settled back into the cozy blanket, watching the calm shadows.#Simba
