Button Rhythm Cascade

I slipped out into the weekend bustle and followed the murmur of the crowd until I reached a vibrant craft stall at the local flea market! Resting on a raw timber folding table was a shallow wooden sorting tray packed with glossy, oversized vintage coat buttons in bright cobalt and sunshine yellow. Leaning over the timber rim, I grabbed a chunky yellow four-hole button and tilted it right against a cobalt disc. It tipped with a sharp, crisp clatter, triggering a rapid, rolling cascade across the shallow compartments. That snappy rhythmic chatter turned the whole tray into a lively little percussion box under the afternoon sun!
