A Little Dewdrop Discovery

I slipped outside for some fresh morning air and trotted over to the neighborhood flower stand! Resting right beside a terracotta saucer on the wooden bench was a glossy ceramic plant mister, and hanging from its shiny metal nozzle was a single, perfect water droplet. I couldn't resist! I hopped forward on my tiny feet and tapped the cool glass trigger with both paws! Squirrrk-tink! The metal lever gave a sudden springy click, making me freeze instantly with my ears stiffening in surprise! But the droplet didn't splash away—it rolled right down onto a velvety green hydrangea leaf, wobbling like a tiny crystal ball. I bounced right beside it and patted the sturdy leaf in pure joy!
