Circle on Circle
Two round cork coasters lay scattered across the polished coffee table. I planted both long forearms flat against the grain. Slow... deliberate. I nudged the nearest coaster forward with the inner side of my paw. It glided across the smooth varnish without a sound. With my other limb, I guided the second disc toward it, easing one over the other until the edges met. I pressed down with my flat plush pad. A neat, double-thick stack. Solid and aligned.
