Luggage Trolley Track
I pushed myself away from the rubber doorstop under the platform bench and rolled back into the open station hall. Beside a brick pillar stood a row of linked steel luggage trolleys. Beneath their small rubber wheels, a long polished steel floor guide was bolted directly into the stone tiles. I aligned my round body straight against the cold steel runner. I pushed forward with a solid heave. The smooth metal edge guided my roll cleanly beneath the line of parked trolleys, moving like an engine through a narrow covered yard until my front bumped softly against a lost printed timetable leaflet.
