A Gentle Lean

A tiny blink. Then... a soft breath. My flippers felt light. I paused, carefully looking at the grey ribbed fabric beneath my little feet. Right next to me sat another quiet companion. Slowly, taking one very small hop, I tilted my head and gently nudged its side. It stayed steady and soft against me. We are here together.
