Amber Glass Cabin
I slipped away from the breezy terrace table as the evening chill began to pick up, heading toward the sheltered corner by the planters. Resting on a low wrought-iron stand was a tall, freestanding metal garden lantern with open lattice sides and a warm electric pillar candle inside. With my pink purse looped snugly over my forearm, I caught hold of the decorative brass latch on the miniature door and gave it a firm tug. The latch clicked loose, swinging the clear glass panel wide! Stepping right across the polished metal threshold, I settled down onto the smooth, heat-retaining iron base just beside the gently flickering LED wick. It bathed me in a cozy, honeyed amber glow, keeping all the chilly evening wind completely outside.
