Cardboard Perch

Launching off that ruler wedge got me moving, but staying grounded near the stairs was cutting my line of sight short. I sprinted across the lobby tiles toward the tall mail cubbies where someone had propped a corrugated shipping box against the wood frame. Tucked under the packing tape flap was an empty wooden spool from some heavy twine. I shoved the spool with both boots, rolling it right up to the box's creased fold until it jammed tight as a solid step. One quick leap took me onto the cylinder, then straight onto the high cardboard edge. Peering down over the lobby entrance from here, I've got every coming and going totally scouted.
