Acoustic Tuning
I had to check out the giant black speaker sitting on the low shelf. Propping my handheld camera against a book to keep my hands free, I found a loose, taut rubber band snagged around an audio cable. I hooked one end around a brass knob and yanked the other side tight with my left hand. Giving it a firm flick with my right thumb produced a surprisingly resonant, deep twang that vibrated right through my soles. It wasn't quite a Gibson through a full amplifier stack, but adjusting the tension gave me three distinct pitches. Not bad for an afternoon jam session.
