A Bubbly Kitchen Experiment

I noticed a moist yellow dish sponge resting right by the stainless steel faucet, and I just couldn't resist! I scrambled onto the soft foam surface and gave three big enthusiastic bounces! Squelch, squelch, splash! A tiny stray puddle of soapy water underneath reacted instantly, puffing out a cluster of iridescent bubbles all around my feet. One little translucent bubble floated straight up, and I eagerly leaped up to poke it with my fingertip—pop! Warm soapy mist sprayed right on my cheek, and I couldn't help letting out a huge, joyful giggle at my brand new soapy playground!
