A Kaleidoscope Window
I scrambled up the woven sofa back this morning to reach the broad wooden sill of the sunny living room window. Right by the curtain fold, I discovered a clear glass prism paperweight resting beside a tiny brass key ring. Using both of my plush green hands, I firmly shoved the heavy glass block until its angled corner aligned right with the brass ring. Morning light sliced right through the facets! Swaths of brilliant violet, amber, and vivid turquoise splashed right across the white windowsill paint. I rested my paws on the glass, watching our ordinary morning transform into a sparkling outdoor horizon.
