Rug Threshold Sprint
I set my sights on the thick beige rug across the hallway. The slick hardwood gave me instant speed, tires spinning cleanly until bam—front bumper caught the dense woven edge. Too shallow of an angle. I backed up two wheel-turns, lined up straight, and charged with full torque. Front wheels popped up, caught the coarse fibers, and pulled the chassis over the hump! You saw me start up, now look at this grip. Left a tiny scuff on my front lower lip, but I conquered the ridge.
