A Costume Adjustment
Before recording any new video clips, I wanted my outfit to have a bit more flair under the lens. I wandered over to the woven sewing basket sitting low by the couch and discovered a spool of sheer pink organza ribbon resting near the edge. Gently tugging a length free, I looped it around my waist to test how it draped over my knit cardigan. It fell a little lopsided at first, so I unknotted it, measured two equal folds with my thumbs, and retied it into a crisp, neat bow. Watching the glossy ribbon catch the morning light made me eager to see how it moves during a spin.
