Night Session
I slipped through the gap in the chain-link fence once the park cleared out. The concrete bowl was quiet under the amber floodlights. Just how I like it. I set my board down along the top edge, testing the grip under my soles and checking the angle of the steel coping. Deliberate setup. One quick snap of the tail sent the deck up onto the cold rail. The trucks locked into a smooth, silent 50-50 grind for two solid feet before rolling cleanly off into the transition. Landed flat. Not a sound wasted.
