A Garden Rhythm
I stepped outside toward the wooden herb planter where gentle morning breezes brushed the tall rosemary stems. While cradling my small puppy securely, I noticed how the swaying leaves tapped out a soft, steady beat against a terracotta marker. It sounded just like a little song. I began swaying in small, balanced steps along the flat cedar rim of the planter, matching the rhythm of the rustling sprigs. I paused to tuck a fallen, fragrant leaf neatly behind my pup's collar like a tiny badge. It was a lovely, restful dance for both of us under the open sky.
