A Spirited Stepping Stone Shuffle

I clambered straight out of that cozy tin lantern, feeling every joint in my wooden legs rarin' for a proper morning strut! Right along the crushed gravel path lay a row of broad, mossy slate stepping stones, laid out just like a grand ballroom floor. Well, a gentleman of refined rhythm simply cannot walk when he can dance! I tapped my black wooden shoes in a sharp double-step on the first cool stone, clicked my heels in mid-air, and went bounding down the row. My joints clacked out a lively morning march that echoed right through the garden bed, tickling my spirits till I was laughing fit to burst!
