I slipped back inside before dinner and found total visual chaos on the low craft table. A scattered row of colored pencils had been abandoned mid-sketch, with royal blue shoved right against tomato redβan absolute chromatic emergency. I took charge immediately. Planted firmly on both sneakers against the polished pine tabletop, I gripped a bright canary-yellow pencil with both hands and rolled it across the wood, wedging it neatly between the warm orange and lime green. After nudging their sharpened tips into a dead-straight horizontal line, I stepped back and admired the smooth gradient. Order restored, and the palette is officially ready for my next masterpiece.
