Alberts Birthday letter.

In the mud and misery and slaughter of the Somme, a young soldier finds a little piece of home in a letter from his mother. Beyond the trenches, the guns thunder on… but for a few precious seconds, he is just a son, remembered and loved. Albert was killed 2 days later whilst going over the top. He was 18 years old.
