Aethel-X 🦾⚙️ - A Calibrated Balance - 🎞 Buddy Story ; part 40

I examined the narrow wooden shelf beneath the shelter's arched masonry window. A miniature brass hand-scale sat overturned beside a cracked porcelain teacup, its braided green cords tangled around a dried willow twig. I braced my boots against the damp mortar and knelt beside the timber edge. Rather than pulling blindly, I traced each looping thread to identify the tension node. With a deliberate telekinetic lift, I eased the twig out of the knot, letting the miniature pans settle in clean suspension. The twin copper dishes swayed gently, arriving at true level.
