A Cozy Evening Perch

I set my eyes on a pile of thick, woven blankets stacked neatly beside the big armchair. With a hop, I grabbed the folded edge of the top blanket and pulled myself up step by step. Right on the corner lay an unlit brass candle snuffer shaped like a little bell! I gave its cool metal handle a friendly tap with my shoe, and it tilted just enough to settle into a soft fold. Sitting up here gives me a splendid view of the whole room as the evening sets in. It makes the perfect spot to rest my feet!
