Marking the Target

I hoisted myself straight up the cold wire rings of the revolving postcard stand tucked beneath the newsagent’s striped canvas awning. Commuters were ducking past the drizzle, but I had real scouting to sort out. Hauling myself between two wire pockets, I shoved aside stacks of tacky Union Jack prints until I hit the jackpot: a glossy card of Big Ben looming over the river. That colossal clock tower is the ultimate elevated prize. Bracing my heels against the metal mesh, I drew my blade and gouged a sharp cross right over the clock face to mark my next objective, then kicked off the spindle, sending the entire rack spinning into a blur. #Warhammer40k #Necromunda
