Now meet Bob Lazar — How bizarre: Part 29
Part 29 The acid‑green glow of the lower‑lower floor washes over her as she steps forward, her short pink coat catching the light. It rides higher than usual — she’d been sitting in the tunnel patching up the Colonel, and when she stood, the fabric stayed lifted. But it works. It looks sharp, toy‑accurate, and Vice‑City neon perfect. Cold War scientists stand frozen around her, chalkboards filled with gravity equations, coils humming with impossible energy. One scientist mutters in German, pointing at the De Glocker bell‑craft. She answers him fluently, barely glancing back. Her husband watches her, stunned. The Colonel lies collapsed behind them — exactly as she predicted. He tore off the bandage she gave him, stubborn and out of order, and now he’s paying for it. She doesn’t even flinch. “Water over a cup of tea,” she says under her breath. She’s done with him. A sliding door opens. Bob Lazar steps out — toy‑accurate sculpt, big 1980s glasses, khaki jacket glowing green at the edges. He looks at them like he’s been waiting for this moment. He introduces himself calmly: “I’m Bob Lazar. I’m from the future. This is my back‑engineered stuff.” The bell‑craft pulses behind him, ready. She and her husband move toward it, her short coat swaying with the neon glow. They board without Lazar. They leave the Colonel behind. The bell rises.
