Corrugated Bank
I skated out toward the alley behind the repair shop, hunting for fresh lines with my freshly painted grin. Leaning against a brick pillar was an abandoned corrugated galvanized steel panel, propped at a steep angle over an empty grease tub. The zinc ripples were begging for a loud line. I took two quick kicks on the gritty asphalt, popped my front wheels straight onto the corrugated slope, and let the urethane chatter down the metal ridges. It sounded like an electric machine gun rattle before shooting me onto a discarded rubber shop mat. Skidded out on my sneaker soles, laughing out loud at that deafening buzz.
