Pit Stop
Slipped back inside under the rubber weatherstrip just as the outdoor streetlights buzzed on. My soles were beat from setting up that sidewalk track, and I had yellow chalk dust clinging all over my kicks! Right on the woven entryway mat, an oversized fuzzy slipper was waiting like an open garage bay. I took two quick strides, bounded onto the rim, and slid right into the fleece lining. Sunk down waist-deep into pure cloud comfort while shaking the chalk off my gloves. Engine's down to a steady idle, and this spot is dialed in for the night.
