A Ray of Sunshine
The unbearable brightness of morning dared to creep across the upholstery, landing directly across my face. Naturally, I refused to yield to vulgar productivity. Instead, I conducted an extraordinarily delicate repositioning. I nudged a velvet throw pillow an inch to the left with my elbow, creating an immaculate nest of velvet and linen. Sliding my long limbs beneath the softest fold, I settled into the exact center of the golden sunbeam. It is sufficiently warm, marginally acceptable, and requires absolutely zero exertion on my part. Do not disturb me; I am absorbing energy.
