Through the Glass
I sprinted past the coffee table on a fresh lap and came to a halt right by the tall balcony glass! The city outside stretches so wide, full of towering roofs and rooftops under the open sky. Down on the sidewalk across the street, two kids were kicking a real, bouncy soccer ball back and forth across a chalk line. I tapped my cleats against the warm floor, pressed both wings against the lower pane, and watched every pass. It’s huge out there—and that looks like the ultimate pitch!
