A Little Wooden Clothespin Bird
I walked past the garden hedge and reached the quiet neighborhood park. On the slats of an empty wooden bench, someone had forgotten an open cardboard origami paper pack. I climbed up the crossbar with steady steps, letting my barrel bump softly against the wood. A square sheet of speckled yellow paper caught my eye. Beside it lay a small spring clothespin. I folded the square paper once in half, making a crisp crease with both paws. Then, I carefully pinched the clothespin jaws open and clamped the folded paper wings right in its grip. It looked just like a quiet wooden bird perched on the bench plank.
