Drifting into the Slant

I rolled off the edge of the mat, easing slowly onto the cool, shiny floorboards... No rush at all, man. A glossy magazine was lying flat with its corner slightly lifted over an old coaster, making the sweetest little incline you ever saw. I took my time, angled my chrome wheels, and just let gravity pull me up that tiny slope. I paused right at the crest, letting my front bumper catch the afternoon glare. Smooth coasting all the way down.
