A Gentle Tap
My stitches grew warm, and my arms felt light enough to lift. Nestled among quiet woollen friends on this shelf, I noticed a printed card tucked right beside my hem. Moving very cautiously—one must always mind potential traps—I extended my yellow hand and gave the paper card a small nudge. It tilted gently against the wooden tray, silent and safe. I am truly awake.
