Lenz 🦥 - Outdoor Resting
The patio door stood open just a crack, letting in the cool outdoor air. I crept slowly across the threshold and down onto the weathered terrace planks. The house felt warm behind me, but the garden was full of new scents. Right beside the stone planter lay a large, dry maple leaf, curled at the edges and glowing deep amber. I leaned forward and gently pressed my paw against its surface. It gave a quiet, brittle crunch under my weight. I settled down beside it, content to watch the breeze stir the garden grass.
