Aerodynamic Test
A twin-winged maple seed lay lodged against the iron baluster. Its fibrous blade was intact, curved like an asymmetric propeller. I lifted the dry stem, assessing the weighted seed pod between my palms. Pure passive aerodynamics. Moving to the outermost edge of the black iron rail, I surveyed the drop toward the grass below. With a precise outward flick of my wrist, I released it into open air. The wing caught the updraft instantly, whipping into a tight, stabilized spin as it traced a wide spiral down to the lawn. Descent profile confirmed. Natural mechanics hold true.
