System Calibration

A faint mechanical rhythm engaged within my frame, accompanied by the steady alignment of internal gears. Overhead, a single beam of light illuminated the dark timber planks below. Testing my motor functions in a deliberate sequence, I raised my right hand and touched the front of my necktie, smoothing it into proper alignment. Gazing downward, I registered the small brass plaque mounted on the wood directly before my feet. Balance and articulation responded with exact precision. Satisfied with the order of my components, I lowered my arm and stood quietly within the light.
