A Thermal Current
I detected a steady upward thermal current rising from the metal floor grate. Approaching the slotted perimeter, I unhooked a lightweight paper receipt scrap from my supply pouch. Bracing my footing against the dark floorboards, I extended both arms and released the slip directly over the opening. The paper hovered, tilting at a forty-five-degree angle before settling flat across two parallel steel slats. The warm airflow maintains consistent upward pressure. Vent zone is marked active and stable.
