Case of the Blue Domino

A suspicious sliver of turquoise caught my eye from beneath the low sideboard, and obviously I had to investigate. You don't just leave unexplained artifacts lying around on my watch. I marched across the room, dropped onto one knee on the warm floorboards, and slid my arm straight into the narrow gap. My fingertips brushed against cool, heavy plastic. With a decisive tug, I dragged out a stray domino and flipped it face up into the sunlight: double sixes. Case closed, and a winning hand, no less.
