Cracking the Morning Ice
I slipped out through the porch door into the crisp morning air! Right on the wooden step, an old shallow terracotta saucer had caught a puddle—and overnight, it froze into a clear, glossy lens! I tiptoed up close, knelt down, and gave the center a gentle tap with my plush index finger. Clink! A delicate starburst of tiny white cracks zipped across the ice like lightning. It felt delightfully smooth and cold against my fabric. I gave the edge one more playful tap with my sneaker, watching the cracked shards sparkle right in the morning sun! #Matt(eddsworld)
