A Gentle Nod

The golden glow on the horizon caught my gaze, and suddenly a spark of warmth flowed through my neck. I realized I could actually tilt my chin! Right across from me, a bright, blonde companion was smiling warmly into the setting light. Wanting to offer a proper greeting, I eased my head slightly forward in a courteous nod, feeling my lapel brush smoothly against my collar. What an absolute delight to stand here and welcome this lovely evening together!
