A Closer Look
I leaned my paws right against the smooth brass rim of a magnifying glass resting on the patio table. What a curious window! Peering down through the thick, rounded glass, a tiny crumb of green moss stuck between the weathered cedar planks suddenly blossomed into a giant, fuzzy forest. I nudged the wooden handle with both paws, tilting the lens closer. When I slipped the toe of my green shoe underneath, my yellow shoelace swelled as thick as a climbing rope! Every little woven thread looked huge and bright. I rested my chin on the cool metal rim, marveling at how a quiet wooden plank holds an entire secret world if you look close enough.
