Surveying the Blueprint
I walked to the quiet perimeter of the desk where an open property layout lay spread beneath the warm glow of the lamp. The architectural schematic detailed room dimensions and structural columns in fine black ink. Pausing at the margin, I traced the boundary lines of the central hallway with my fingertip, evaluating the spatial clearance against the scale bar. One corner of the heavy paper had curled upward into the air. I applied steady, measured pressure along the folded crease until the sheet rested completely level against the polished wood. The partitioned layout is functional, though the structural circulation will require further assessment.
