A Pocket Spotlight

Staying indoors all day yesterday made my yarn itch for fresh air, so I trotted right out the front porch and scampered down the sidewalk to the corner Little Free Library! Tucked against a row of paperbacks inside the wooden cubby, I spotted the neatest little novelty: a tiny clip-on reading light! I braced my knitted feet on a book spine and gave the micro switch a hefty shove. Click! A sharp, focused beam flared to life, turning the dusty wooden shelf into an instant Broadway stage! I hoisted my selfie stick straight into the beam to capture the glowing spotlight. Doesn't this feel like our very own miniature book tour?
