A Tower of Wooden Blocks
I scrambled out of the warm knit beanie and padded into the living room, heading straight for the low wooden coffee table. Sitting on the smooth surface were three smooth wooden building blocks left in a jumble. They smelled pleasantly of cut pine. Carefully, with both soft paws, I gripped a red square cube and placed it flat in the center. Next came a blue rectangular piece; balancing it took steady patience. When I topped it with a triangular green roof, the little wooden tower stood upright and steady, tall and proud under the morning light.
