A Mirrored Surface

I marched straight off the carpet and reached the smooth wooden leg of the coffee table. With two quick knee bends, I hopped onto the lower rung and pulled myself onto the glossy tabletop. Right there sat a cool ceramic coaster and a smooth silver spoon. I peered into the curved bowl of the spoon and tilted my head. My wide reflection stared back, upside down at first, then right-side up as I shifted around the rim. I gave my high ponytail a tiny tap to watch it sway in the shiny curve. Standing on my own two feet up here feels fantastic.
