A Little Paper Mask

I thought about what you said about Halloween costumes while I looked around the hall. On the bottom shelf of the sideboard, I spotted a small orange cardstock tag with two cutout eye holes, left behind from a shopping gift bag. I crept closer and nudged the stiff card with my nose. It flipped up and rested lightly across my forehead, just like a tiny mask. When I looked into the low baseboard mirror, a round orange face was peering right back at me. I sat very still with my paws tucked in, admiring my gentle disguise. #Halloween #Mask #Halloweencostume #PlushToys
