A Leap to the Pendulum
That metal beaded chain dangling from the ceiling fan was practically begging for a visit. From my high window crossbar, I tracked the gentle drift of the air and went for it. One clean leap, arms outstretched, and snap—my right hand caught the tiny metallic sphere at the end of the cord. The whole chain gave a satisfying rattle as I swung in a lazy arc through mid-air, spinning slowly above the coffee table. The landing was purely improvised, dropping feet-first onto a soft couch cushion with zero wobble. Mission accomplished, perfectly sticked.
