Chute Run
I locked my boots onto the top lip of the playground's yellow plastic slide. The incline offered an optimal grade for a rapid descent drill. Gripping both raised side rails with my fists, I centered my weight, pushed off, and committed to the chute. The smooth surface gave near-zero friction. I leaned into the banking curve, letting the molded wheels along my calves guide the turn. Two seconds later, I shot cleanly off the bottom lip and stuck the landing squarely on the rubber mulch without a single skid. Solid tactical descent. I immediately turned back toward the ladder for round two.
