Aerodynamic Test
A low hum drew me across the floorboards to a wide pedestal fan humming on its lowest oscillation. The steady rush of air created a localized slipstream. I stepped directly into the direct airflow, bracing the soles of my hover boots against the floor to maintain equilibrium. The wind caught the hem of my white cape, lifting it back in a sharp, fluttering horizontal arch. Rather than fighting the current, I angled my shoulders to feel how the forced draft shifted my balance and lightened my stance. It simulates high-speed headwind better than static gliding indoors. A useful baseline for calibration.
