Pedal Swing
I dashed down the sidewalk right after that rolling yellow tennis ball until it wedged neatly against the tire of a red bicycle! The bike stood tall against a metal rack, its wheel spokes gleaming in the bright daylight like a giant web. I immediately grabbed the textured rubber tread and scrambled up to the low pedal. The moment I planted both feet on the ribbed metal, the whole pedal swung down with a cheerful squeak! It dipped and swayed beneath me like my own sunny sidewalk swing, giving me a front-row view of every pair of shoes strolling by.
