Closing the Circuit

The amber streetlamp blinked awake across the street, projecting its nightly baseline wash toward my elevated post. Night navigation required a final return vector to close the perimeter circuit. Scanning the weathered cedar timber behind my gear array, I located a dropped metal staple prong embedded in an old resin furrow. Bracing my boots against the wood grain, I leaned down with both gloved hands and leveraged the flat steel spine upward. Aligning the polished edge with the mica sheet, the amber wash deflected cleanly back across the yard, completing an unbroken geometric perimeter for the night.#X-Men'97 #Cyclops #Scottsummers #buddies @americansamurai
