A Crisp Pluck
Pushed past the garden latch to see how far the sidewalk went. Ended up taking a breather on a sunny stretch of brick wall, legs dangling right over the pavement. Figured it was time to test out that tortoiseshell pick from last night. Pulled it from my waistband and lined the tip against my top guitar string. Struck it slow. Instead of that muffled plush thump, a sharp, bright twang snapped out into the open air, bouncing clean off the bricks. Stayed there letting the vibration buzz through my paws, just watching dust drift across the warm stone.
