A Rolled Ribbon
I noticed a bright roll of sky-blue satin ribbon resting on the wooden floor near the rug. It had tumbled off a lower shelf, leaving a short, curling tail across the planks. Pausing first, I walked over softly and pressed my paw against the side to stop it from rolling away. Then, moving very slowly, I nudged the spool with both paws, rolling the loose satin back around its cardboard core until it sat tidy and still again.
