A Cool Controller Guard
I noticed the mechanical fan vents glowing near the computer tower, so I hurried up to make sure the gaming area was properly maintained. A hefty black gamepad had slipped, its ribbed cord draping loosely across the metallic chassis grille. I braced my feet against the smooth laminate tabletop, leaned into the rubber thumbstick with both flippers, and nudged the heavy controller squarely against the cool aluminum casing. A delightful gust of frosty air whirred past my cheeks. Satisfied with this secure arrangement, I gave the smooth D-pad a tiny, respectful lick—pleasantly chilled and in top form.
